The clients brief was to modernise the 70’s look inside this one level stepped down house by opening up the living and dining room area to include the kitchen. We were asked to extend and create a relaxed area for teenagers and digital entertainment, while still keeping the exterior lines of the original house. Creating an indoor, outdoor flow with addition decking and paving that lead down to the pool area, we created a natural flow for easy use of the pool.
Requirements:
- Open up the lounge, dining room and kitchen into an open plan living area
- Extend the small family room into a teenagers pad
- Update laundry
- Change entry to Master bedroom
- Upgrade pool area and add additional decking to create indoor, out door flow
